What We Accept:

BrickHouse Books publishes a wide variety of poetry in multitudes of genres.  Browse our site and our books to get a sense of what we publish. If you’d like to purchase a sample of our work, we’ll be happy to send something your way. Contact us for more information on how to obtain a sample at a discounted price.

We accept simultaneous submissions, so long as you notify us immediately if you are accepted elsewhere.

Submission Requirements: 

We require the following:

Your Entire Manuscript

A properly formatted manuscript, preferably 50-200 pages in length, with a max of 350 pages (1 page = 250 words). We only accept .doc, .docx, and .pdf files, with a preference toward Word documents for ease of reviewing.  Please make sure your cover page contains all necessary contact information.

A Cover/Query Letter

Tell us about your work, including the genre, your intended audience, the length of the work, and other standard query information.

A $5 Submission Fee
